Finally an update!!!!!
This year was a fantastic Christmas! It was the first Christmas I got to host at our home in Maryland. I really enjoyed getting to stay home, I mean who doesn't love to travel, but when you are teaching kindergarten and pregnant it is nice to have people come to you!
My parents were awesome. Mom helped me organize and we made huge progress on baby Morgan's room! Like my good friend Adria said, "Sometimes you just need your mom". Isn't that the truth? Moms can make a world of difference and they just know what you need and my mom thinks for me a lot of the time. She knows how much I have on my plate and really tries to take some of my burdens. Speaking of plates, we also whipped up a pretty good Chrsitmas dinner. I feel "pretty" confident that I have mastered the homemade mac and cheese and sweet potatoes.
We were pretty busy, but in between time we had fab lunches and dinners, shopped, watched movies, played with our dogs, and just enjoyed being together. Both my parents mean the world to me, and being with them made me beyond thankful. I miss them and everyday I wish they lived closer. I only hope that Eddie and I can be as amazing and giving as our parents! I am 25 weeks now and been super busy doing all the little things to get prepared. My last checkup went well, our little guy was more cooperative and the sonographer could see his spinal cord this time!
We are looking forward to the new year and all the new experiences and joy a baby will bring! Oh, and I wanted to share one of my new favorite quotes.
" A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothers shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for."

Oh my gosh! Where do I even begin? A great deal has happened over the last 3 months.
The biggest and most exciting news is that Eddie and I are expecting our first baby in April 2011!
This past week, we found out it is a.........BOY! Of course, Eddie is so thrilled and when I called my Dad at work, there was no missing his enthusiasm. I wish I could have seen his face! I feel so grateful God has blessed us with this miracle.
We are both over the moon, and cannot wait for this new chapter in our lives. As you can imagine, the first trimester was pretty tiring. I not only had to start a new school year, but it was also Eddie's busy season! There were days I wasn't sure how I was going to get the energy to make it through the day for my sweet kindergartners. However, I know it will be all worth it when we have our baby boy!
Now that I am in my 2nd trimester things are going better. I feel much less tired, and already feel like I might be entering that "nesting" phase. I am constantly organizing and thinking about where things will go. However, the only thing still missing is my bump. I am not showing. Everyday I wake up and try and push out my stomach, but there just still isn't much there yet. I am 17 weeks, and really hoping that by 20 weeks there will be a "little somethin" there.
Lastly, the other fun event was our 3 year anniversary on October 13,2010. Eddie did it up big. We spent the weekend in DC and had a blast. We had room service, went sightseeing, and had one really romantic dinner at this cool place called 1789. Eddie had never been to DC, so we had to hit the big stuff. Hopefully we will get to go back again, since we aren't too far!

Highlights of being in KC (that's my classroom)
So I am sure you all noticed it was quite the year for me. I wanted to share some of my bulletin boards and best memories from Valentine's Day to the 100th Day! It was such a fun year and I am missing all my kids right now and can't wait to see them as 1st graders in about one month!
I must say I am getting anxious and ready to start another adventure with my new 5 and 6 year olds!
Can't wait and I will be sure to keep you posted!

MIA
Okay, so I know I have been completley MIA for the last few months, well approximatley 6 months. It doesen't help that everytime Eddie and I go somewhere we forget our camera. Not a good habit, we need to start caputuring these years of our lives. So I have made a vow to start doing better.
Anyways, I finished my 1st year as a kindergarten teacher, and it was one of the most exhausting years of my life, but also one of the most rewarding. By the end of the year, I truly got to see how each and everyone of them had grown and I have a handful of special memories and stories that won't be forgotten.
Now this summer I am doing my nanny job, traveling, organizing, and just trying to catch up!
It has been wonderful to just be able to breathe and enjoy life! I have gotten caught up with famly and friends and that makes me feel whole again. Life just goes by too fast these days, so it has been nice to slow down and just take it all in.
I am looking forward to our annual trip to the the Eastern shore with my family and close friends and I will be sure to post pics then.
I am also gonna do a special blog looking back at my classroom this past year and post some pics!

Happy New Year Everyone! Whew.....between a major snowfall and trying to get everything done, where did 2009 go?
Anyways, although hectic, Christmas was wonderful! Eddie and I really enjoyed going home and being with my family. We went to church, ate well, played lots of games, and saw two great movies!
I am now ready to get back in the classroom to see my precious kindergarteners. We will be performing our pageant this week and having our Christmas party, since we missed school due to the 24 inches of snow in our area! It was truly beautiful, but I think we may be in for one heck of a winter!
